"Entertainment is in art like color in pictures."

Martin Kippenberger

With the stress and chaos of daily living what better way to bring awareness to your property than by entertaining possible guests? Utilize the magic of entertainment to create awareness for your hotel.

If you have been to Vegas and then you would know the Bellagio Hotel even without stepping inside it. The Fountains of Bellagio featuring water and lights show have become a must when visiting Sin City. Flocks of tourists wait on specific hours just to experience this event. It is now something that the destination itself markets.

Another example is the Resorts World Las Vegas where they utilized LED video displays to provide eye-catching multimedia entertainment.

What you need is something permanent. Not transient. Something that would create a buzz and ultimately makes your property a must-place to visit and a landmark as well.

Should your hotel be not designed to handle such, then create something at a smaller scale. For example, the concierge of Sofitel hotels all around the world provides a candle-lighting ritual at sunset. This might not be as eye-catching as acres of water and lights show but still provides entertainment to guests.

Look at your hotel’s exterior. Do you have an area or a feature that can possibly be upgraded or utilized? Do you have an area that can be viewed from up close or afar that would provide entertainment?

Using entertainment to market your hotel is a plus for your guests and also captures locals' and tourists' attention. At the end of the day, everyone loves good entertainment.
