My Story
We are all multifaceted. We have different sides.
Each time you tilt something, you see things differently.

Still - we are a sum of a whole. Our passions that we chose to define us.
​
For me, it has always revolved around three things that stemmed from my need to create and my yearning to see the world. Passion to create, passion to explore, and passion for work. Art, travel, and marketing.
​
My first memory of art and painting was when I was 5. I remember sitting on our patio early afternoon and looking at the rays hitting the leaves of the tree. And how the hues flicker with the wind every time the sunlight hits part of it. The following day, I melted all my crayons under the sun. I wanted to mix colours and try to recreate what I have seen the day before.

On travel - we talk of genetic traits. The colour of one's eyes or hair or mannerism. But no one has ever talked about genetic passions. My grandfather left his town when he was 17 and never looked back. Because he wanted to see the world. And I believe that is a passion I have inherited. Travel runs through my blood. It exhilarates me. It reminds me of scale. It is my way of prayer.

Getting into hotel marketing was not a random chance. I didn't just fall into it. One of my first choices to study in school was Hotel Management. During my early years working in Hotel Projects and Admin - I would always look over at the Marketing team wanting to do what they are doing. In all my travels - the first thing I would notice would be the hotel marketing efforts around me. I would look at a blank page and can imagine how the layout would look best. I can read a copy of an ad and know exactly what image would be the best fit. I can create event concepts out of thin air and would be able to write down all the steps to turn in into reality. When digital marketing started, I was one of the early adaptors to practice online marketing in the industry.

Initially, this website was purely all about my art. One day, I said to myself - I am not a single-sided entity. I am a multifaceted being with three tales of passion inside of me. I have knowledge, experiences, and adventures that I can share. It might entertain, educate, or inspire. Most importantly, I have shared my art creations in painting and poetry, my travel stories in photography and prose, and my hotel marketing expertise in tips, ideas, and examples.
